Responsibilities

  • Develop new and continuous improvement plan for the existing Banking products and services in alignment with the overall Business unit strategy.
  • Ensure execution of developed business strategic roadmap based on business objectives and Bank’s direction.
  • Work closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure projects/division milestones/goals reported in the Business Plan are met timely and adhere to approved budget.
  • Perform follow-ups with relevant stakeholders and monitor the execution of all action plans.
  • Ensure that all processes/action plans (new developments/existing) are fully compliant in line with relevant guidelines including Shariah/Regulatory/Internal Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Conduct reviews on current performance/process and provide proposals to formulate action plans/strategies based on the results/performance of the division.
  • Organize work-group sessions within the Business Unit to drive support on any expansion initiatives and encourage participation.
  • Identify process gaps and propose corrective action plans.
  • Manage external relationships, i.e., regulators and external auditors.
  • Ensure adherence and compliance to all internal policies/guidelines and external regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure processes and procedures implemented are in line with the Bank’s policy, standards, and procedures and other regulatory requirements including Compliance requirements.
  • Any other duties/assignments as directed/assigned by the Assistant General Manager of Business Strategy and/or Chief Business Officer from time to time.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in any related field of study from a recognised IPTA/IPTS.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to form strong, lasting relationships with others.
  • Self-driven and proactive, with strong, innovative problem-solving skills and a welcoming attitude towards change.
  • Highly independent, committed, self-motivated, resourceful, and result-oriented.
  • Ability to network across various functions and levels, and effectively manage multiple tasks/projects while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Possess strong business acumen and insight.
  • Customer-centric.
