About the role
As a Assistant Manager, Authority Liaison, you will report directly to the Head of Land Business. In this role, you will manage relationships with regulatory authorities, ensuring timely approvals for land-related projects. Your responsibilities will include handling document submissions, revisions, and follow-ups with government agencies. You will work closely with internal teams to maintain smooth project progress and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate regulatory processes effectively.
Job Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact between the company and relevant government agencies to ensure necessary approvals are obtained in a timely manner.
- Manage and track the submission process for all required documents, including layout plans, building plans, revisions, and utility approval applications.
- Foster and maintain positive relationships with all regulatory authorities to facilitate smooth operations and effective communication.
- Ensure that all regulatory compliance documentation is accurately prepared, updated, and submitted as per the statutory requirements.
- Coordinate and follow up with governmental agencies and internal departments regarding the progress of permits, licenses, and approvals.
- Prepare and draft official correspondences to relevant authorities and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Any other duties that may be assigned by Management from time to time.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Development, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar regulatory liaison or compliance role.
- Willingness to travel as necessary, with a valid driver’s license and personal transport.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal teams and external regulatory bodies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
