This position is responsible for the analysis, design, development and implementation of IT Applications through the translation of business requirements into computing capabilities to address a defined scope of business improvement or opportunity.
Perform feasibility study, analysis and design with Business Analyst and/or vendor.
Undertake end to end application development for projects or enhancements.
Perform application setup, testing and documentation.
Undertake application support, system investigation and issue resolution for application break-fix.
Escalating issues to Reporting Manager on critical issues to manage the SLA and TAT.
Job Requirement:
Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Business Studies or related discipline.
3 or more years of experience supporting applications or working in an operational/systems support role for the financial/insurance industry.
Must have working knowledge on Apache, JBoss, MS IIS and IBM Websphere.
Must have working knowledge on tools like Eclipse, SonarQube, Jira, Visual Studio, Bitbucket, Jenkins etc.
Knowledge in API or microservice development is an advantage.
