The Role:
- Perform the following tasks based on Singapore Risk Based Capital 2 (RBC) reporting requirements with sufficient checking and analysis:
- Monthly valuation (reserve, financial resources and risk requirements)
- Stress Testing
- Sensitivity testing on Capital Adequacy Ratio under Group prescribed scenarios
- Business planning
- Capital Contingency Plan
- Enhance existing Prophet coding to cater for RBC2 reporting requirements with audit trail for the abovementioned tasks.
- Work with supervisor to design process and reporting template for the abovementioned tasks.
- Collaborate with risk management, actuarial and finance teams in the Great Eastern Group on the requirements and timelines.
- Highlight any potential concerns / enhancements on Group reporting.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
The Person:
- Degree in Actuarial Science with good progress in Actuarial examination.
- Minimum 2 years working experience.
- Good understanding of the insurance industry, preferably in life insurance.
- Good communication, project management, and time management skills, and possess good problem-solving ability.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and programming language.
- High level of integrity, takes accountability for work, and has a good attitude towards teamwork.
- Takes initiative to improve current processes and is adaptable to embrace new changes.
