Job description

Responsibilities:

  1. Handle the full spectrum of accounting functions in the Finance department including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and fixed assets.
  2. Update and prepare timely periodic and ad-hoc reports to management.
  3. Ensure all accounting and financial management practices are carried out in strict adherence to group accounting policy and approved accounting standards.
  4. Perform analysis of accounts and ensure the accuracy of entries.
  5. Liaise with auditors/tax agents/bankers.
  6. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory filings, GST, corporate tax, and other legislative requirements.
  7. Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
  8. Assist in other ad-hoc accounting and corporate finance projects and perform any other accounting-related duties as applicable.
  9. Responsible for preparing monthly management accounts within the deadlines given.

Job Requirements:

  1. Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, Professional Certificate, or other relevant accounting qualification.
  2. At least 3-4 years of working experience in handling a full set of accounts, management accounting, Group accounts, and related financial analysis exposure.
  3. Required skill(s): Accounting Knowledge, MS Office, especially Excel.
  4. Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
