Implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the QESH Management System.
Provide and demonstrate the leadership and commitment for the overall implementation of the QESH Management System in the department.
Take accountability for the effectiveness of the QESH Management System in the department.
Ensure that the QESH Management System conforms to the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards in the department.
Promote use of process approach, risk-based thinking and life cycle perspective in the organisation.
Take responsibility and accountability for prevention of work-related injury and ill health in the department.
Promote customer focus and improvement in the department.
Comply with client and applicable legal and other requirements.
Determine risks, opportunities and plan actions and ensure they are implemented.
Report on performance of QESH Management System including QESH performance in the department to the Top Management.
To prepare M&E estimates for tenders.
To review contractual conditions in tender documents.
To prepare documents for tender and pre-qualifications submissions.
To monitor the work carried out by M&E Engineer.
To check through tender documents and drawings for any discrepancy and potential claims during post contract.
To assist Tender & Contract Department in contract implementation and interpretation of contract terms, discrepancies between BQ/drawings/specifications etc.
To prepare awards of subcontract works for M&E packages during post contract.
To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.
Job Requirement
A recognised Degree/Diploma Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field/equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Construction Project Management.
Self-motivated, initiative, independent with good interpersonal skills.
Good communication and technical reporting skills.
Possess good numerical skills, sharp analytical thinking.
