Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for middle to junior-level positions, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and offer negotiation.
  • Work closely with business heads and department managers to understand manpower requirements and create talent pipelines.
  • Track recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, offer acceptance rate) and prepare monthly reports.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee queries and workplace concerns.
  • Investigate and resolve employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary issues in a timely and fair manner.
  • Advise managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and labor regulations.
  • Support exit interviews and analyze turnover data to suggest retention strategies.
  • Work with the HR Manager to identify high-potential employees and support succession planning efforts.
  • Coordinate internal and external training programs to meet employee development needs and maintain training records.
  • Support compensation and benefits benchmarking and make recommendations on pay structures and benefits programs.
  • Contribute to the annual salary review and bonus processes.
  • Maintain accurate and updated employee records in both hardcopy and HRIS systems.
  • Support audits (internal and external) by providing necessary HR documents.
  • Draft HR letters such as employment contracts, warning letters, promotion letters, and other official correspondences.
  • Support the HR Manager on special assignments such as HR policy reviews or organizational restructuring.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years in HR generalist or HR operations roles, preferably in fast-paced industries such as F&B, retail, hospitality, or manufacturing.
  • Solid understanding of Malaysia’s Employment Act and other relevant labor laws.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with all levels of employees.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HRIS.
