Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a managerial position or in a related field is required for this position.
  • Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Human Resource, Business Management, or equivalent.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform the full spectrum of HR activities such as recruitment, payroll, employee benefits, and compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Ensure that all HR transactional activities and standards comply with relevant Acts, legal demands, and ethical standards.
  • Liaise with the Labor department, Income Tax department, EPF & Socso department.
  • Prepare applications for various relevant grants offered by government agencies.
  • Responsible for the management of the overall personnel and industrial relations function in the company.
  • Ensure that the company’s policies are communicated effectively, including the importance of quality management system requirements.
  • Develop talent via effective resourcing practices to attract, engage, and retain key/critical talents and be involved in talent management for critical leadership positions.
  • Foster harmonious working relationships and ensure proper handling of employee grievances and welfare.
  • Advise on people-related matters across different departments on various topics such as employment laws, HR policies, hiring practices, performance concerns, and career development.
  • Review existing processes and proactively propose new improvement initiatives to enhance digitalization and effectiveness of the HR function.
  • Act as the contact point for inquiries related to the Company's HR policies and ensure all day-to-day HR matters are managed in accordance with the company's employee handbook, policies, and relevant labor laws.
  • Participate in global HR strategy and ensure consistent delivery of strategic HR tools, policies, systems, and processes to enhance the competitive edge of the organization.
  • Provide learning services (planning and delivery) and talent management initiatives (training and development, rewards, succession planning) to maintain healthy employee retention levels.
  • Drive key people metrics with budgeting, reporting, and data analytics as required by the company.
