Objective

  • This role is to report to the Top Management.
  • Manages a team of HR personnel and works closely with the management team and departmental heads to achieve the business objectives and organizational effectiveness and efficiency.

Job Description

  • Oversees and executes the full spectrum of HR functions which include manpower sourcing and planning, training & development, talent management and succession planning, employee relations, compensation & benefits, performance management, and other HR-related support services.
  • Responsible for formulating HR strategic plans and initiatives to strengthen HR processes and practices to support business growth for the organization.
  • Supports Top Management by providing the best HR practices within the framework of the company’s beliefs, values, and objectives.
  • Works closely with the Top Management team in organizational design, job evaluation, change management processes, and participates in HR industry benchmarking to ensure the company runs effectively and efficiently.
  • Acts as a point of contact for management and employees in relation to HR matters.
  • Handles employee disciplinary, grievances, misconduct issues, industrial relations, and labor issues.
  • Executes all matters related to foreign workers and expatriates, which include liaising with Immigration, agents, and other related Government bodies pertaining to foreign workers and expatriates application and administration.
  • Plans, develops, and implements HR continuous improvement activities.
  • Oversees the overall day-to-day HR operations and functions.
  • Performs any other duties as and when required.

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Law, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 8 years proven experience in a similar capacity from a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong written and verbal command of Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Chinese.
  • Able to work independently with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Result-driven, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to abide by deadlines with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment.
  • Well-versed in the Malaysia Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act, immigration procedures, and good knowledge of prevailing HR practices and legislation.
  • Preferably Manager specializing in Manufacturing/Production Operations and equivalent.
  • Must be willing to work in Nilai and can travel outstation.
