Job description
  • Oversee full set of accounts for EEC MY Entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting which complies with relevant accounting standards and group accounting policy.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare board meeting materials, including quarterly financials and operational performance updates.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, audit requirements, and internal financial policies.
  • Manage cash flow planning, budgeting, and financial forecasting to support business growth.
  • Coordinate audit process, liaising with auditors and preparing required documents.

Business Partnering & Operations Support

  • Work closely with the management team to align financial strategies with business objectives.
  • Provide financial insights and data-driven recommendations to support operational decision-making.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to optimize cost structures, improve revenue collection, and enhance financial efficiency.
  • Act as a key finance contact for business operations in KL and JB, ensuring financial considerations are integrated into day-to-day activities.

Doctor’s Fee Computation and Payment:

  • Prepare monthly doctor’s fee computation and ensure adherence to payout timeline.
  • Ensure accurate mapping and processing of doctor’s fee computation.
  • Maintain accurate records and reconciliations related to doctor’s fees and liaise with doctors/other departments for onboarding of new doctors and mapping of new codes.

Internal Controls & Compliance:

  • Ensure strong financial controls are in place to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes and controls, ensuring alignment with best practices.

Any other duties as assigned by the HMI Group CFO and Finance Business Partner.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or CA/CPA equivalent qualification.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in financial reporting, accounting, and business partnering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide actionable financial insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with business teams.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of financial matters.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Word/Power Point and financial software (e.g., ERP systems, Microsoft Business Central).
