Designation: Assistant Finance Manager / Finance Manager

Reports to: Senior Finance Manager / CFO

Manages: Finance Executive

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts for the Group reporting.
• Oversee and develop finance processes to support the operations team.
• Handle project ledgers and analyze actual results against budgets.
• Establish and monitor an internal control framework.
• Day-to-day accounting operations, month-end closing, reporting, and financial analysis.
• Preparation and submission of local tax and statutory requirements.
• Preparation and coordination of external and/or internal audits.
• Attend to other business functions' queries to provide data and/or analysis.
• Manage ad-hoc accounting functions and assignments when required.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related discipline.
• Must be a chartered accountant or equivalent.

Experience

• Min 5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting-related roles.
• Sound knowledge of local statutory reporting requirements.
• Hands-on experience in preparing a full set of accounts.
• Good Excel skills; experience with SAP will be an added advantage.
• Good oral and written communication skills especially in English, Malay, and Mandarin (Mandarin is preferable as need to deal with stakeholders).
• Independent, meticulous, proactive, and able to meet tight deadlines when required.
• Able to start immediately will be an advantage.
