Job Description:
• Responsible for overseeing financial reporting and general accounting functions.
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly reports and annual reports for regulatory submission.
• Coordinate with external auditors for year-end audits and ensure timely completion of audited financial statements.
• Liaise with tax consultants and regulatory authorities on tax matters.
• Maintain proper financial records and support internal controls to comply with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making by management.
• Assist in budget preparation, variance analysis, and forecasting.
• Any other ad hoc jobs as required by the superior from time to time.
Requirements:
• University Degree/full professional qualification in Finance/Accountancy with at least 2 years of relevant working experience in a similar capacity.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent are required (for Finance Manager).
• Competent in accounting/tax technicalities and abreast with current accounting standards and tax requirements.
• Experienced in manufacturing and construction accounting is an added advantage.
