Assistant Finance Manager based in Petaling Jaya

About our client:
This company is a well-known MNC in the logistics industry with multiple brand presence and partnerships across the globe that cover close to 20 markets. They are looking to hire a senior finance professional to be based in Petaling Jaya.

Your key responsibilities include:

1. Take charge of full spectrum finance and accounting, budgeting, treasury while reporting to the finance manager.
2. Ensure compliance with company's policy and regional standards.
3. Ensure alignment of local processes and controllership compliance.
4. Co-ordinate with Treasury for local treasury/banking requirements.
5. Ensure all updated ST regulations are implemented.
6. Manage and guide a lean team towards excellence.
7. Support on audits, statutory reporting and tax.

The ideal candidate should have:

1. At least a bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting, and/or professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, etc.).
2. A minimum of 5 years in audit or full spectrum finance and accounting functions.
3. Exposure to MNC organisations.
4. A proven track record of being a manager/having leadership experience in managing direct reports.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders (finance and non-finance).
