Prepare group consolidated and company-level financial statements in accordance with the requirements of International GAAP / local GAAP and the requirements of the relevant acts.
Oversee the closing of the monthly management accounts for the timely preparation of ISEC Group management accounts and quarterly reporting.
Ensure the accounts are in compliance with statutory requirements, approved accounting standards, relevant acts, and regulations.
Review and supervise the daily finance operation and process/policies.
Prepare budget and cash flow projections at both entity and group levels.
Identify and resolve discrepancies quickly by conducting reviews with the management team to understand, investigate, and rectify the variances.
Perform and provide sound and detailed monthly comparisons and analysis of financial data and costing.
Assist in finalizing the statutory audit, statutory accounts, corporate income tax computation, and the submission of the corporate income tax return.
Liaise with tax agents, auditors, company secretary, and other relevant bodies, when required.
Review budget and cashflow projection.
Assist in ISEC Group Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Audit, and Sustainability Reporting.
Assist in hospital information system and finance system projects.
Explore enhancements and actively streamline processes toward greater efficiencies and operations.
Attend to monthly/quarterly inventory count and/or yearly fixed assets count when required.
Requirements:
Preferably a Degree in Accountancy / Professional Accounting Qualification (CPA/ACCA/ICAEW/MICPA) or equivalent.
Certificate/Diploma in Accounting or relevant working experience.
Minimum 4 years of working experience.
Strong technical knowledge in understanding and interpreting financial reporting standards and other statutory or listing requirements.
Excellent interpersonal and workplace communication skills.
Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin.
Extensive experience in utilising computerised accounting/ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
Able to deliver accurate and high-quality work. Meticulous and deadline conscious.
A strong team player with high personal integrity. Tenacious with a high level of energy and ambition.
Leadership skills.
Knowledge of Internal Audits and Controls will be an added advantage.
NOTE: You are only required to work ONE Saturday per month.
