ASSISTANT FINANCE MANAGER

Job Description

  1. Prepare monthly financial & operational review reports, complete with analysis to management on time
  2. Prepare annual financial budget and periodic revisions where necessary
  3. Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, legal counsel & company secretary
  4. Ensure timely submission of tax returns (income tax, sales and service tax)
  5. Develop and periodically update standard costing for company's products
  6. Liaise with bankers to facilitate operations of banking facilities and account, including forex transactions
  7. Manage company's cash flow, ensuring prompt payments to creditors and collection from debtors

Job Requirement

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/MIA etc)
  2. Minimum 5 years working experience, preferable in manufacturing sector
  3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standard, regulations and internal controls
  4. Proficient in Accounting Software and Microsoft Office
  5. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team with minimal supervision
  6. A proactive, positive attitude with good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
