Assistant Contract Manager
Job description
Responsibility
- To participate in tendering for new projects.
- Responsible for taking off quantities and calling for quotations.
- Prepare Tender Documents including BQ and cost estimation.
- Review and analyze cost studies and budget.
- Evaluate tenders from contractors/sub-contractors.
- Appointment of contractors/sub-contractors and prepare letter of award.
- Carry out other job assignments as and when required by the immediate superior.
- Ad-hoc assignments as directed by management.
Job Requirement
- Candidate should possess a Diploma / Advanced Diploma, Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying.
- Preferably at least 6 years of related working experience.
- Good knowledge of construction methods and materials.
- Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia.
