Job description

Job Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for evaluation and preparation of project progress claim and verification of sub-contractor’s monthly claims.
  2. To resolve all contractual and commercial issues and disputes at site.
  3. Manage, control, and validate all costings and changes within the allocated budget.
  4. Review and recommend contractual claim and changes for verification and certification by superior.
  5. Responsible for contract administration in accordance to the conditions of the contract.
  6. Ensure operational work processes and documentations are in compliance with the company’s ISO.
  7. Manage and initiate the tendering processes, conduct tender interviews, evaluation and analysis of cost, recommendation for award of tender, and preparation of letter of award.
  8. Any other tasks as assigned by the Management from time to time.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor Degree in Quantity Surveying, Contract Management or equivalent.
  2. At least 7 years’ experience in the consultancy/construction/property development industry.
  3. Strong knowledge of pre and post contract works.
  4. Possess good analytical and negotiation skills.
  5. Strong leadership and team management skills, a team player, and able to cope in an accelerated work environment.
  6. Able to work independently under pressure within tight deadlines, and possess a high level of integrity.
  7. Proficient in written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English.
