Job description

We’re looking for a driven and insightful Assistant Consumer Insights Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our business through data-driven consumer understanding. If you’re passionate about leveraging research to uncover meaningful insights and influence strategic decisions that fuel business growth, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

In this role, you will work closely with the Consumer Insights Manager and cross-functional teams across SEA to ensure consumer and shopper insights are at the heart of everything we do.

What You’ll Do:

  1. Champion Consumer Insights:
    • Independently manage and execute consumer and market research projects from start to finish for assigned categories in SEA.
    • Deliver timely, actionable insights and clear recommendations that directly support business strategies.
  2. Research & Analysis:
    • Lead research design and data analysis efforts with internal teams and external agencies to uncover critical consumer trends and needs.
    • Utilize both traditional and innovative techniques to deepen insights and understanding of consumer behavior.
  3. Drive Strategic Decision Making:
    • Provide strong, data-backed consumer insights that guide strategic decisions and support category growth.
    • Work closely with the Marketing, Trade Marketing, and Brand Innovation teams to align consumer insights with business objectives.
  4. Efficient Project Management:
    • Manage multiple research projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.
    • Ensure the efficient use of research findings across departments for maximum impact.
  5. Consumer Insights Ownership:
    • Act as the key point of contact for consumer insights within your assigned categories, driving continuous improvements in research processes and deliverables.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Education: Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 4 years of experience in Consumer Insights/Market Research, preferably in FMCG.
  • Skills:
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Skilled in interpreting data to extract actionable insights that meet business needs.
  • Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Courage to voice opposing views and challenge ideas when necessary.
