Position: Assistant Company Secretary

Requirements/Job Description:

  • Minimum 1 year's experience in a similar company secretarial or corporate governance role, preferably within the in-house legal team or fresh ICSA graduate is encouraged to apply.
  • Strong understanding of Malaysian company law and corporate governance best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision is preferred.
  • Proficient in the use of relevant software and systems, including Microsoft Office suite.
  • Providing secretarial support to the Board of Directors and Board Committees, including preparing agendas, minutes, and other relevant documents.
  • Maintaining statutory company records and registers, ensuring all compliance obligations are fulfilled.
  • Assisting with the organisation of general meetings, including the preparation of notices, proxies, and other related documents.
  • Liaising with regulatory authorities and other external parties on all corporate secretarial matters.
  • Advising on corporate governance best practices and ensuring the company operates in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Assist on ad hoc matters related to SSM or ROS filing.
  • Providing administrative support to the management team as required.
