Job description

Assistant Commercial and Contract Manager

  • Lead and direct the quantity surveying team in the administration of contracts to ensure the quality and prompt completion of their assigned tasks and responsibilities.
  • Provide guidance and settle contract claims, contract disputes, and requests for equitable adjustment.
  • Oversee the preparation and monitoring of the project cost budget, the cash flow for the project, the tracking of changes in the design/construction process, and the adjusting of budget estimates.
  • Manage and monitor the subcontract payment and main contract progress claim.
  • Work closely with the project team to ensure that subcontractors and suppliers are awarded on schedule.
  • Ensure that the main and subcontract are completed on time.
  • Any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in relevant discipline.
  • 10 years or more of experience in building, MRT, or double track quantity surveying.
  • Specialization: MEP works.
  • Able to function well under pressure and with minimal supervision.
