• Performing Digestions for Metal Analysis (Precious metals and base metals)
• Receiving customer sample for analysis and follows the SOP
• Daily and periodic calibration of weighing Balances
• Follows SOP and working instructions on testing methods
• Making sure that data is accurately recorded in accordance with guidelines
• Maintain documents as per ISO17025.
• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge on sampling and analytical methods and procedures
• Able to work under minimum supervision
• Follows international standards methods.
• Strong organizational skills will enable you to keep track of all your data, and carefully document all processes and results.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Sample registration
• Sample weighing, Digestions & Dilutions
• pH & Density of the solutions
• Auto titrator operation and health check up
• Weighing balance, Glass ware & Pipette calibrations.
• Glassware calibrations & monitoring the stock of glass ware.
• Temperature Monitoring in instrument rooms.
• Estimation of Acid contents & water content by KF titrators.
• Millipore water Resistivity & Maintenance.
• Chemical’s utility monitoring & Sample disposal and return samples to respective PIC.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintenance of sample Register & digestion Log Books
• Maintenance of Calibration records for weighing balance and other first Aid, Fume hood, Chemical usage checklists
• Maintenance of Certificate of Analysis & Material Safety Data sheets of Chemicals, gases, Primary standard solutions.
• Have to keep clean and maintain of Analysis lab clean
• To perform multiple tasks as and when required.
