ASSISTANT ACCOUTANT

Anthosma Landscape Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our dynamic team in our Jalan Ipoh Kuala Lumpur office. In this full-time position, you will play a vital role in supporting our accounting operations and contributing to the overall financial management of the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Conduct reconciliations of bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and other financial records
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and documentation
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Provide administrative support to the accounting team as needed
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations
• Support superior in various accounting projects and tasks
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned
• Process transactions, invoices, receipts and payments accurately and promptly

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in a similar industry
• Candidate must possess at least SPM or relevant field preferred
• Understanding of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
• Proficiency in using accounting SQL software and spreadsheet applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel)
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant accounting qualifications or certifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
