Job description

We are looking for an experienced, motivated individual to join our company as an Account Assistant Manager. You will be assisting the accounts team or accounts superior by taking charge of tasks, including but not limited to reporting, ledger maintenance, administration and account reconciliation which covers accounts payable, accounts receivable, general accounting, general duties and others.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review audited/unaudited financial statements in accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage tax compliance and reporting, including GST and corporate tax filings.
  • Book-keeping and accounting entries to accounting system (e.g., payments, receipts, fixed assets, accruals, adjustments).
  • Responsible for the timely preparation of full set of accounts, month-end, financial year-end closing and aging/listings on Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Profit & Loss, Balance Sheets, and all related accounts schedule.
  • Prepare bank/AR/AP reconciliation statements.
  • Oversee accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
  • Work independently on accounting and management reports and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Be aware of the BU / client requirements/instructions and provide quality deliverables.
  • Acknowledge receipt of client’s requests/queries/correspondences within a reasonable time.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards, liaise with external auditors and clients.
  • Assist with accounting matters within the department and with other departments.
  • Undertake any ad hoc assignments as instructed by the Company.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience within accounting and doing full set of accounts.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English, with Mandarin as an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Able to work under tight deadlines, meticulous, proactive, multitask in a fast-paced environment and independently with minimum supervision.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Possesses good time management, strong interpersonal skills with clear communication, inquisitive mindset and problem-solving skills.
