About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at YLG CONSULTANCY INTERNATIONAL SDN BHD as an Assistant Manager. In this full-time role, you will be based in the vibrant Kuala Lumpur City Centre, Kuala Lumpur location, where you will play a key part in supporting the management and operations of the business.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting with the day-to-day management and operations of the business
  • Providing support to the leadership team in strategic planning and decision making
  • Overseeing the effective delivery of services to clients and customers
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of policies, procedures and best practices
  • Supervising, training and mentoring junior team members
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing change
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards

What we're looking for

  • Significant experience (8+ years) in a management or supervisory role within the Hospitality & Tourism industry
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a solution-focused approach
  • Proven track record in delivering high-quality service and driving operational excellence
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Thorough understanding of Hospitality & Tourism industry regulations, trends and best practices
  • Proficient in using relevant business software and IT systems
