Area Sales Manager (ASM role)

We are looking for an area sales manager (ASM) who is passionate, disciplined, and has sales experience in maintaining and expanding our existing customers in Kuantan and Johor. The channels will include visiting motorcycle workshops, spare part shops, and car workshops. Preferably, someone who's a fast learner and responsive with strong selling skills.

Also to handle 1 junior sales executive (just guidance).

Candidate with experience in the FMCG line will be a priority.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively source and establish new accounts.
• Aggressively promote and generate sales set by the company.
• Ensure collection of debts in a timely manner.
• Accountable for accelerated market share, sales, and profit growth for the assigned brand portfolio.
• Develop trade strategies and promotion plans to drive channel growth in terms of market share.
• Track sales goals and report results as necessary.

REPORT directly to Managing Director

Job Requirements:

• Hardworking, self-motivated, results-oriented, and honest.
• Candidate must possess a driving license and own car.
• Required language(s): English, Bahasa.
• Able to work in a challenging and fast-paced working environment.
• Highly goal-driven and works well in fast-paced environments.
• Adaptable and thrives in changing environments.
• Strong networker & relationship builder.
• Willing to undertake more than 50% travel.
• Understand competitors' marketing plans (pricing, incentives, promotions, etc.) and able to formulate marketing plans.
