BAT MALAYSIA IS LOOKING FOR AREA SALES MANAGER

SENIORITY LEVEL: Junior Management

FUNCTION: Trade & Marketing Distribution

SALARY RANGE: Basic Salary + Excellent Benefits + Market Leading Bonus

LOCATION: Selangor, Malaysia

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

Reports to: State Sales Manager

Reporting Level: Manage Self & Others

Geographic Scope: Local

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Data Analytics (ability to crunch data and provide insights & business recommendations)
  • Demonstrate understanding of local peculiarities to identify business opportunities and growth
  • Strategy skills and planning through technical and localized programs
  • Reviewing business performance and expanding opportunities in route planning process, trading terms and outlet visit plan
  • Lead a team of Area Sales Executives to drive the team forward
  • Achieve agreed targets in the market and effective coaching
  • Lead the secondary supply chain to meet the agreed brand volume, market share, distribution presence
  • Ensure teams provide relevant market intel and respond against competitors’ movements in respective areas
