AR Accountant (Account Receivable)

Essential Functions:
• Perform daily accounting tasks and responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Cash application
• Maintenance of address books for both customers and vendors
• Uploading JDE invoices to the customer portal when necessary
• Issuing statutory invoices as required
• Issuing intercompany debit notes
• Conducting critical collection activities on overdue invoices, including calls, emails, dunning letters, and regular customer follow-ups to understand payment delays
• Performing overdue analysis, managing risks and exposure by blocking sales orders or conducting credit checks on customers' financial health
• Assisting customers in dispute resolution, as needed
• Manage monthly closing, reporting, and reconciliation, including issuing monthly statements, AR aging reports, DSO reports, Blackline reconciliation, etc.
• Upload and analyze Power BI data for continuous KPI improvement
• Assist in both internal and external audits for the division, ensuring SOX compliance and timely support of required data
• Support RPA initiatives and work with the team leader to identify opportunities for process automation
• Participate in special projects as directed by the leader

Qualifications:
• Strong work ethic and integrity
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• Solid understanding of general accounting practices, including US GAAP and local GAAP
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Team player with a collaborative attitude
• Self-motivated and results-oriented
• Proficient with computers and up-to-date with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Power BI)
