Application Engineer

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Programming of robot-based application modules.
2. Creation of sustainable, state-of-the-art reference Robot SW applications modules.
3. Assurance of delivery of defined applications in accordance with the specified, prioritized order and deadlines.
4. To provide field service, pre-sales, and post-sales engineering support.
5. To provide service, on-site installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance, and product consultations on our scope of supply (systems, spare parts, and robots) to customers.
6. Application development.
7. Compliance with the agreed quality standards.
8. To provide commissioning training of developed application and on-site commissioning.
9. To provide the proposal and report to fulfill the document request from internal and external users.
10. Safeguarding and continuous improvement of the know-how in application engineering.
11. Present solutions and application knowledge to sales and engineering team.
12. Willingness to work outside standard business hours when necessary.
13. Required to travel within the region.

Position Requirements

1. Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronic, controls engineering, or equivalent qualification.
2. At least 2 years’ experience in setting-up, commissioning, and programming robotic applications.
3. Advanced knowledge of simulation of engineering systems and using 3D CAD software is preferable.
4. Java, Python, C++ expertise.
5. Ideally experience in programming and commissioning of KUKA robots.
