What you'll do

We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate/ Junior Manager to join our PwC Malaysia Sustainability CoE team. In this role, you will engage with clients on projects ranging from regulatory and voluntary sustainability reporting assurance to consulting on complex sustainable reporting processes and practices, including compliance with Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).

What we're looking for

• You should have at least 3-5 years of assurance and reporting experience with a reputable company
• Utilize your external auditing expertise and passion for sustainability strategy and reporting to address new challenges.
• Conduct risk assessments on material sustainability topics prone to misstatement, and design and execute innovative, tech-enabled assurance approaches that provide valuable insights to our clients.
• Support the full spectrum of assurance tasks, including planning, testing, reviewing, and reporting stages on large and complex client engagements.
• Help develop and nurture relationships with market-leading clients by delivering exceptional client services focused on their ESG or Sustainability reporting agendas.
• Help guide clients in meeting CSRD requirements, such as:
• Disclosing information on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) matters.
• Reporting on sustainability targets, risk management, and opportunities.
• Ensuring compliance with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).
• Preparing for third-party audits and assurance of sustainability information.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a dynamic, diverse, and high-performing team.
