Analytical Equipment Service Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Performing service tasks like in-house repair and on-site commissioning for various gas quality analyzers such as PTR-MS, MITAP VOC Analyzer, GCMS, IC, PID, FID and other online gas tester and analyzer, Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS), and Air Quality Monitoring Station (AQMS).
2. Troubleshooting analyzer & advising Production, Engineering, Quality and Laboratory department on the best solutions following standard procedures and safety guidelines.
3. Support project team to perform Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT) for project.
4. Identifying and listing preventive & maintenance of the analytical equipment and ensuring the upkeeping of the analytical equipment.
5. Perform calibration according to the requirement of relevant standards such as ISO 9001 and ISO 17025.
6. Provide equipment related training to relevant department and exhibit the equipment capabilities with customers.
7. To assist product management team on the new requirements from customers regarding gas analyzers.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree in chemistry, electronics, electrical, mechatronics engineering or similar field preferred.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a field service engineer/ analytical equipment service engineer.
3. Technical expertise in air/gas analytical instruments.
4. Familiarity with process and environmental monitoring equipment.
5. Customer-focused with a positive attitude.
6. Strong planning and time management skills for job efficiency.
7. Knowledge of gas analysers, CEMS, and other laboratory analytical equipment is advantageous.
