As the Analyst, Loan Operations (Labuan) at MUFG Bank (Malaysia) Berhad, you will be responsible for providing operational support to the Loan Operations team in Labuan. This full-time role will involve processing loan transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The position is based in Labuan.

What You'll Be Doing

1. Process loan drawdowns, repayments, and other loan-related transactions
2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date loan records and documentation
3. Perform quality checks to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
4. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve inquiries and issues
5. Provide administrative support to the Loan Operations team as needed
6. Assist in the implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives.

Requirements:

1. Applicant must have a recognized Degree in Business Administration, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Information Technology or its equivalent from a recognized university/higher learning institution.
2. Preferably with minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience in a bank would be an added advantage. Fresh graduates also can be considered.
3. Good knowledge & experience in compliance and sanction matters related to all aspects of banking
4. Sound understanding of the operational workflows in structured trade finance, corporate and syndicated credit and loan processing, banking accounts servicing, and treasury products settlement will be added advantage.
5. Demonstrated ability to communicate in written and spoken English
6. Good interpersonal and communication skills
7. Proficiency in MS applications ie Words, Excel
8. Flexibility and could work well independently and as a member of a team with minimal supervision
9. Basic problem-solving skills and good communication skills
10. Ability to multi-task and be highly organized
