Our MNC Client is a global provider with leading technology. They are hiring for a detailed and responsible candidate to fill their job opening of Analyst Manufacturing Finance II, to be based at Kulim, Kedah.
Basic Job Functions:
An Analyst II of Manufacturing Finance provides financial and process support with oversight to at least one manufacturing site, collaborates with functional teams, and provides analytical insight to support operational objectives. The role contributes to short-term financial planning, ad hoc financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, management, and KPI reporting. The role requires effective business partnering on initiatives while supporting an accurate and reliable monthly close.
Job Responsibilities:
- Contributes to the success of the manufacturing site by providing analysis and insights on the financial performance of the business.
- Reports on operational performance metrics for product costing and inventory management while assisting the business with analysis to drive cost reduction initiatives locally.
- Supports the Company’s ongoing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Works collaboratively with external auditors to support quarterly reviews, annual audits, and timely resolution of accounting or Sarbanes-Oxley (404) issues.
- Collaborates with IT and other functional leaders to support the implementation of business processes, systems, reporting, and process enhancements.
- Ensures compliance with Quality, Environment, Health and Safety, and Responsible Business Alliance policies and procedures enforced within the organization.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance related field, required.
- 4-6 years combined experience working for a public multi-national company and/or a public accounting firm.
- Demonstrated experience working for a manufacturing company and/or a public accounting firm.
- Industry experience with renewable energy and/or technology, preferred.
- Demonstrated history of managing tasks in a fast-paced and high-growth environment.
- Ability to make recommendations for process improvement.
- Ability to perform analysis by assimilating multiple sources of information.
- Possesses an in-depth understanding of concepts and principles within own discipline.
- Solid oral and written communication skills.
- Solid numerical proficiency, organizational, problem-solving skills, and use of logic.
- Ability to operate effectively within a global multi-cultural organization and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Efficient at performing analysis and spotting errors.
- A strong working knowledge of inventory accounting and hands-on experience performing inventory close-related activities.
- Familiarity with enterprise resource management and finance systems.
- Proficient use of all Microsoft Office suite programs.
- Experience in ERP systems (Oracle) preferred.
- Candidate must be willing to work in Kulim, Kedah.
