Job Description SummaryWe are currently seeking a sharp, self-starter, and motivated Global Finance Reporting COE Analyst. In this highly visible role, the successful candidate will work in a fast-paced and rewarding work environment. The Analyst is primarily responsible for supporting Global Finance initiatives in the Greater Asia region and partnering with Greater Asia Regional Finance in month-end closings, analyses, and monthly consolidations of KPI’s and reporting.
Global Finance Solutions – Business Process PartneringParticipate in Global/Site Business and Regional Process Networks to share best practices and drive operational performance.
Support global projects including reporting standardization/simplification initiatives and collaborate with regional/country partners to drive the success of enhancement initiatives for the region.
Act as a COE 'Super User' for financial systems end-to-end financial planning and reporting process.
Collaborate with global, regional, and country partners to manage Finance planning and reporting processes and ensure partners’ needs are prioritized.
Understand budgeting, planning, and operational data to run standard deliverables and develop ad-hoc reports using global tools in accordance to global standards and good practices.
Support planning and budgeting models and drivers.
Has intermediate excel ability (able to do some data manipulation).
Has experience in finance reporting tools or data management/analytical tools e.g. SAP ECC, SAP BPC, Power BI.
Has fluent English skills (written & oral).
Has experience working in a matrix reporting structure/organization involving multiple countries and business units, or a COE involving finance systems, master data, projects, or process management.
Able to demonstrate continuous improvement mindset. Experience in managing or participating in CI and improvement projects involving cross-functional stakeholders preferable.
Self-driven with strong intellectual curiosity in financial systems/data, reporting and CI best practices, and takes pride in producing good output quality.
B.S. degree in Accounting or Finance required.
Minimum 3+ years of relevant FP&A and Accounting working experience required, preferably in a manufacturing industry or public accounting.
Candidate must be highly proficient working with Microsoft Excel and reasonably proficient with other common applications such as MS PowerPoint.
Working knowledge of SAP ECC, BPC, and Power BI is desirable.
Candidate should be well organized and possess good analytical and communication skills.
Self-driven, proactive and seeks continuous improvement.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed, challenging environment with strong attention to detail.
Previous experience working in a highly visible role that will interact with individuals at all organizational levels.
