About the role

Join our dynamic Corporate Finance team at MUFG Bank (Malaysia) Berhad as an Analyst. In this full-time position based in Kuala Lumpur City Centre, you will play a crucial role in supporting our corporate clients with strategic financial advisory, capital raising, and mergers and acquisitions transactions. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and experience in the heart of Malaysia's financial district.

What you'll be doing

1. Responsible for daily operations, month-end and year-end closing process.
2. Prepare monthly/quarterly financial reports, especially Head Office reporting (J-GAAP, US-GAAP and Management reporting) and support BNM Statistical Reporting and perform variance analysis.
3. Assist with the structuring and execution of complex corporate finance transactions.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide seamless advisory services to clients.
5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
6. Contribute to the overall growth and success of the Corporate Finance team.

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field with professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, CPA, etc.)
2. 1-3 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or a similar role.
3. Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5. Ability to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
6. Keen interest in the financial services industry and a desire to learn and grow.
