Analyst, Application Performance Monitoring

JOB DESCRIPTION
Execute implementation of performance monitoring related initiatives and projects for IT systems and services to meet the needs of the business applications. These initiatives cover services deployed for Malaysia and regional sites.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Execute implementation of performance related initiatives and measures of the IT services to ensure IT services are available as required that meets the needs of the business.
2. Liaison with service owners on embracing adoption of new and emerging performance monitoring technologies and products, services, methods and techniques.
3. Execute monitoring, analysis and continuous fine tuning of performance metrics.
4. Maintain the health of the environment by keeping the environment with current upgrades and patches and troubleshoot issues associated with performance monitoring tools.
5. Coordinate issues that requires escalation with external/internal parties.
6. Assist to manage quotation and PO for monitoring activities.
7. Assist to review vendors performance periodically with the defined and agreed service levels in the contract.
8. Assist in exploring new and emerging performance monitoring technologies and products, services, methods and techniques.
9. Assist in compiling analysis report, findings and recommendation for performance related issues to assist in root cause analysis.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledgeable in Application Performance tools such as Dynatrace, Synthetic, Nagios, DEM and ITSM tool for SD, IM, PM, CM and other modules.
- Understanding and experience in Windows/LINUX/Database server in Virtualized environment.
- Technical understanding on infrastructure, systems and application related to Banking Application.
