Job Summary

Altera is seeking a highly motivated FP&A Manager to lead financial planning and analysis efforts, drive strategic decision-making, and manage a team of FP&A professionals. This role will be critical in providing financial insights, forecasting, and reporting to support business growth and operational efficiency. The FP&A Manager will work cross-functionally with leadership teams, drive financial strategy, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership & Team Management:

   • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of FP&A analysts, ensuring high performance and professional growth.

   • Provide clear direction and set priorities to support business objectives.

2. Financial Planning & Analysis:

   • Oversee the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes for the business unit.

   • Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.

   • Partner with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making through financial modeling and scenario analysis.

3. Reporting & Business Insights:

   • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs).

   • Develop and enhance financial dashboards and reporting tools for real-time business insights.

   • Support leadership with ad hoc financial analysis to drive profitability and operational efficiency.

4. Strategic Finance & Business Partnering:

   • Collaborate with sales, operations, R&D, and corporate finance teams to align financial strategies with business objectives.

   • Evaluate investment opportunities, cost optimization initiatives, and capital allocation strategies.

   • Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and automation efforts to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

5. Compliance & Risk Management:

   • Ensure financial practices adhere to corporate policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

   • Assist in internal audits and ensure data integrity in financial reporting.

Qualifications:

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CFA preferred).

• 7+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related role, preferably within the semiconductor or technology industry.

• Strong leadership experience with direct reports, demonstrating people management and development skills.

• Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Proficiency in financial systems and tools such as Oracle, Hyperion, Anaplan, or similar ERP.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
