Be responsible to oversee both the financial and administrative functions of the Company, ensuring financial health, operational efficiency, and compliance with regulations. This role involves managing financial records, preparing budgets, analyzing financial performance, and also coordinating office activities, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the Accounts & Finance Department, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  2. Oversee and manage the company's financial operations and reporting.
  3. Handle group consolidation, inter-company transactions, and monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reporting.
  4. Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, and statutory requirements, including corporate tax laws and regulations.
  5. Perform strategic financial analysis and projections.
  6. Preparing and managing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  7. Monitoring cash flow and making recommendations to improve financial performance.
  8. Identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing measures to enhance the company's profitability.
  9. Implementing and maintaining internal controls.
  10. Providing financial advice and analysis to support decision-making.

Administrative Functions:

  1. Responsible for procurement activities in accordance with the Company’s procurement policy.
  2. Coordinating office activities and ensuring smooth daily operations.
  3. Managing resources and ensuring efficient use of facilities and equipment.
  4. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and legal requirements.
  5. Managing office supplies and equipment.
  6. Providing administrative support to staff.
  7. Supervising and mentoring finance and accounting staff.
  8. Liaising with external parties, such as auditors, banks, and government.
  9. Engage in continuous education and professional development in the financial field.
  10. Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in financial and administrative management.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Candidate must possess at least a Degree or Professional qualification in Finance/Accountancy/ACCA/CIMA/MIA or equivalent.

At least 5 years of working experience in a managerial position is required for this position.

Strong leadership and organizational skills with ability to strategize and solve problems.

Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.

Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations.

Experience in budgeting, financial forecasting, and reporting.

Working Days: Monday - Friday
