Job Description

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

To assist the Senior Operation Officer in the monitoring of Airside Operations and to ensure compliance with all related documents.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• To perform regular inspection on runway, taxiway and apron at least 4 times daily to ensure smooth and safe operations of aircraft movement.
• To report any irregularities and defects on surface, AGL and other facilities to the relevant units immediately.
• To ensure no obstruction to aircraft and vehicle movement on the movement area.
• To ensure markings, signs and other related facilities are visible and in good conditions at all times.
• To ensure surfaces are clean and clear from FOD for the safe operations of aircraft movement.
• To ensure runway sweepers are serviceable at all times so that cleaning of surfaces can be carried out when needed.
• To report any incident/accident to Head of Operations immediately.
• To carry out any directives given by airport higher authority.
• To ensure compliance with the Annex 14, MCAR and other relevant documents.
• To handle and resolve all customer complaints.
• To coordinate with other units to ensure all facilities provided are in good working condition.

Skills

• Good interpersonal & communication skills.
• Customer service oriented with a pleasant personality.
• Proficient in both written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Relevant Industries

• Diploma with at least 2 years experience in airport-related operations.
• Possess basic knowledge of airport operations management.

Education

Diploma in any discipline, preferably in Engineering / Management / Transportation.
