Job description

GBS is an international cross-function unit with three elements: Regions (customer-facing organizations), Business Lines (responsible for product portfolio and development) and Global Operations with six delivery centers (responsible for the delivery of services). GBS in Malaysia hosts the delivery center under the global operations and the region function for Asia, Korea, Japan and ANZ. It provides Accounting and Finance Services, Human Resource Services, Supply Chain Management Services and several regional expertise-based services to Siemens and Non-Siemens Companies worldwide.


You'll make an impact by:

  1. Process Payments
    1. Handle daily payments for 3rd party vendors, inter-company transactions, and employee reimbursements.
    2. Utilize SAP, Siemens systems, and bank portals for payment processing.
  2. Customer Service
    1. Provide customer service support to internal and external stakeholders.
    2. Resolve payment discrepancies and address inquiries.
  3. System Management
    1. Monitor and respond to emails from suppliers and business units.
  4. Performance & Quality
    1. Meet established service level agreements and performance metrics.
    2. Ensure accurate and timely payment processing.
  5. Compliance & Controls
    1. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and accounting controls.
  6. Continuous Improvement
    1. Identify and implement process improvements and best practices.
    2. Prepare and submit required reports.

You excel in:

  1. Education & Experience
    1. An above average Degree in Accountancy or Finance
    2. Minimum 2 years working experience in Payment Process
  2. Skills & Knowledge
    1. Sound accounting knowledge and good understanding of P2P process
    2. Proficiency in Ms Office Packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    3. Knowledge in SAP (advantageous)
  3. Other Requirements
    1. Excellent communication skills
    2. Willingness to work shifts
