About the role

Work Location: 1Powerhouse, PJ (5mins walk from MRT Bandar Utama)

Reporting To: Accounts Payable Team Lead

Working Hours: 2.00PM – 11.00PM

Key responsibilities

1. Manage the complete payments process for the Europe region, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
2. Perform weekly clearing of debit balances and transitory General Ledger (GL) accounts.
3. Address and resolve supplier and site inquiries related to payments promptly and effectively.
4. Handle payment errors for both automated and manual transactions, ensuring smooth operations.
5. Maintain comprehensive historical records through microfilming and organized filing.
6. Lead data cleansing activities and oversee seamless data ownership transfers.

Qualifications and skills

1. Bachelor’s Degree in finance or similar field.
2. Minimum 1 year of experience in an accounts payable or related finance role, with exposure in AP Vendor/Internal Customer Management, Validation, and Invoice Processing.
3. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) is a bonus.
4. Knowledge of Change Management and process improvement strategies.
5. Relevant certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA) are beneficial but not required.
