To manage, supervise, check & control accounting book-keeping operations of full set of accounts i.e. FAR, AP, AR, GL, Cashbook, Journals and Reconciliation accounts.
To manage full-set management accounts closings and analysis on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
Coordinate with departments on accounting-related issues.
Evaluate operational policies and their impact on financial results.
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and internal policies.
To liaise and follow up with Auditor, Tax Agent, Co-Secretaries, authorities, LHDN and to ensure compliance and timely submission of all statutory related matters e.g. SST filing, Tax filing, Co. Annual Return filing etc.
Manage and mentor junior accounting staff.
Assist in cash flow management and variance analysis.
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Any ad-hoc tasks assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
5-7 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with ACCA / CIMA / CA / CPA / MIA qualification.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
