About the role

As the Accounts Executive, you will play a pivotal role in the company's financial operations. Located in mainland, Butterworth, this full-time position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic and growing automotive retail organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Overseeing all financial accounting and reporting activities
• Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports
• Reconcile bank accounts and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
• Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses to aid in strategic decision-making
• Liaise with auditors and other external stakeholders to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Provide support and guidance to the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment

What we're looking for

• A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, reporting, and regulatory requirements
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data
• Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial record-keeping
