Introduction to Pure Mylk

We are excited to introduce you to Pure Mylk, a pioneer in the plant-based beverage industry, dedicated to making high-quality, nutritious, and innovative products accessible and affordable for everyone.

We're proud to be the first contract manufacturer for plant-based beverages in Malaysia utilizing both Enzymatic and Direct Steam Injection processes.

At Pure Mylk, we produce a diverse range of plant-based beverages, including oat milk, rice milk, almond milk, coconut milk, plant-based ambient yogurt drink, high-protein drinks, and specialized solutions for children and the elderly.

What is the role about?

• Financial Record Keeping: Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of all financial records, including general ledger entries and supporting documentation.
• Full Set of Accounts Management: Prepare and present comprehensive financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in compliance with accounting standards.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing, payment processing, and collection of outstanding debts.
• Reconciliation: Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts, vendor accounts, and internal financial records to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Month-End Closing: Assist in the month-end closing process, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and generating financial reports for management.
• Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
• Asset Management: Track and manage the company's assets, including depreciation calculations, inventory management, and asset valuations.
• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Generate financial reports and perform variance analysis to provide insights into the organization's financial performance and support strategic decision-making.
• Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing any inquiries related to financial records.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders.

Are you the one?

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, and/or related field. Professional accounting qualification such as Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) or similar is added value.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and finance role. Experience in the food manufacturing industry is a plus.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in Accounting Software (e.g. SAP) is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
