Job Responsibilities:

• To handle day to day accounting functions of Account Payable, Account Receivable and General Ledger of the Company and its related company.
• Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records.
• Monthly Bank Reconciliation
• Handle Petty cash.
• Process Directors and staff claims.
• Ensure proper filing of all documents.
• Prepare and process manual and electronic transfers and payments and ensure all records are up to date.
• Maintain Fixed Asset Register.
• Stock Control and month end stock valuation
• Create and Maintain various schedules for Reconciliation of Balance Sheet items.
• Assist in preparation and payment of direct and indirect taxes such as corporate tax prepayment, SST, GST and VAT returns.
• Assist in monthly preparation of financial and management reports and Annual Financial and Tax audits.
• Minimum travelling involved.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Degree in Finance/Accounting, LCCI or equivalent with relevant experience.
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field but Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
• Responsible, committed and able to resolve issues and discrepancies independently.
• Should be able to fill in bank forms and prepare cheques.
• Knowledge of LC and financing instruments like BA, TR etc. is desirable.
• Possess good Excel skills.
• Able to converse well in English as the job involves communication with Banks and occasionally Foreign Clients.
• Location: Puncak Alam
• Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
