Job description
Recruiter: Able Global Berhad (Formerly Known as Johore Tin Berhad)
Responsibilities:
Monitor and ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end closing activities which include posting of journal entries, preparation of management accounts and any other deliverables required for reporting purposes;
Analyze and reconcile general ledger, expenses, income, intercompany balances, etc.;
Maintain and update fixed asset register;
Manage tax compliance, including corporate income tax and deferred tax computation;
Assist Finance Manager in preparing Group consolidation account;
Work in collaboration with External Auditors, tax agents, and other Accountants in the preparation of final account and tax-related matters;
Undertake any other ad hoc duties or projects as assigned.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least Advanced Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accountancy / Professional qualified with ACCA, CPA or equivalent.
At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferable consolidation accounting experience.
Detailed and meticulous with good accounting knowledge.
Possess mature personality, good communication skills, and able to work with all levels of staff in the organization.
Able to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Computer literate and has knowledge of MS Office.
Familiar with SAP Business One ERP system will be an added advantage.
