Accounts Assistant/ Executive

About the role

Join the growing team at JTA Global Advisory Sdn Bhd as an Accounts Assistant/ Executive. In this full-time, office-based role in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, you will be responsible for providing essential accounting and bookkeeping support to our small business clients.

What you'll be doing

1. Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers for client businesses
2. Prepare and process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions
3. Reconcile bank statements and accounting records
4. Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements
5. Provide administrative support to the accounting team as needed
6. Liaise with clients to address any accounting-related inquiries or concerns
7. Support the team in meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work

What we're looking for

1. Relevant accounting or bookkeeping qualification, such as a diploma or degree
2. 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a small practice or SME environment. Fresh graduates or diploma students encouraged to apply.
3. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records
4. Proficient in using accounting software, such as SQL
5. Good communication skills and customer service orientation
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
