As part of our ongoing business expansion, we are seeking motivated and talented finance professionals to join our Finance and Admin department. As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Assist in maintaining the full set of accounts, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Support the processing of invoices, payments, and financial transactions to ensure timely and accurate records.
- Manage general bookkeeping tasks, such as data entry and documentation.
- Handle supplier and client inquiries and maintain supplier records.
- Assist in month-end closing, audit preparation, and tax schedules.
- Support the Finance team in inventory and cost tracking, cash flow projection, and feasibility studies.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance, statutory regulations, and company policies.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks and projects assigned by the Finance Manager.
Requirements
- A Diploma, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel).
- Passion for service and a strong aptitude for problem solving.
- Proficiency in speaking and writing in English.
- Prior experience in an accounting or finance-related role is an advantage but fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in accounting software (eg. Xero or other SaaS systems) is an advantage.
