Accounting Specialist

Responsibilities:

1. Manage daily bookkeeping, monthly, and annual closing processes, ensuring compliance with local regulations. Coordinate with the headquarters in Taiwan to provide necessary data for various management and reporting requirements.
2. Conduct cost accounting and analysis to provide insights for managerial decision-making.
3. Prepare and analyze financial reports to support precise and strategic decisions for the management team.
4. Assist in completing local tax filings and tax planning while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
5. Help design and optimize company financial and accounting workflows and processes.
6. Participate in the implementation of SAP financial modules and manage daily operations.
7. Provide additional financial and administrative support based on business needs.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. 5 years in accounting/financial analysis, with at least 2 years in cost management.
3. Proficient in accounting software and financial reporting tools; experience with SAP is a plus.
4. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and cost analysis.
5. Knowledge of local tax regulations and tax filing procedures.
6. Ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
7. Experience in improving financial workflows and internal processes.
8. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Mandarin is a plus.
9. Strong organizational, time-management, and collaborative skills with the ability to work independently.
