Accounting Manager (Precious Metal Recycling), Pekan Nanas
Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
Salary: RM8,000 to RM10,000
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to join us. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial accounting and reporting activities for the company. This is a full-time position that offers excellent opportunities for professional development and growth.
Responsibilities:
Accounts Management and Reporting
- Oversee and manage Malaysia's financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in the development and implementation of effective financial strategies, policies, and procedures to streamline operations and improve profitability.
- Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (IFRS), industry regulations, and internal control policies.
Assist in Cost Management
- Assist in the development and implementation of inventory management strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize carrying costs.
- Assist in the analyse and reporting on inventory valuation, turnover, and profitability.
Tax Reporting (Malaysia)
- Preparation and submission of Tax.
- Coordinate and facilitate tax reporting.
- Implementation of LHDN E-Invoicing.
Reporting and Compliance
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, and regulatory bodies.
- Maintain compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, such as precious metals trading regulations.
- Coordinate and facilitate external audits and regulatory inspections.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a finance management and supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards, and SST regulations.
- Proficiency in budgeting.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to communicate with our China office in written and spoken mandarin.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Merticulous, with an eye for detail.
- Willing to travel to Kuala Lumpur’s office once a month.
