Description

We are looking for an accomplished Accounting professional to join our team as a Corporate Finance Manager. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and controlling the company's overall financial functions.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, suggest and control the company's overall financial functions including financial planning and policies, compliance with accounting standards/regulations, and the reporting and performance monitoring of business operations in a multi-business environment of the company and group of companies.
• Provide financial analysis on the profitability and validity of business plans throughout the group and contribute to the group's strategic goals.
• Lead all aspects of the company's finances in alignment with the group's strategic goals including overseeing the preparation and review of financial reports, group's accounts, taxation and treasury management matters, compliance with Bursa Malaysia requirements, and ensuring high standards of financial controls as well as the implementation and documentation of internal control procedures.
• Proactively communicate and report on financial matters to the CEO, also provide support on financial matters to the strategic business unit Heads.

Requirements

Degree in Finance/Accounting/Commerce or equivalent.

At least 9 years of relevant experience, including finance operations (audit experience is a plus).

Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) or other professional accounting bodies.

Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
